Who we are?

Tracevia is a company specialized in transport infrastructure and Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), with complete operations from design to implementation and operation. We were born in 1980 in Portugal and expanded our presence in Latin America with operations established since 2011 in Brazil and since 2017 in Mexico. Today, we work with ITS in Portugal, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina and Colombia, with Engineering teams and technicians in Brazil, Mexico and Colombia, ensuring capillarity, agility and quality standards in the field.

What do we do?

We deliver integrated solutions for road safety, traffic management and highway operation, combining technology and engineering in a complete ecosystem, including:

• Traffic Control Center and 24/7 operation
• Highway management software – Tracevia ITS, integrating subsystems and centralizing alarms, events and operational processes
• CCTV (fixed, mobile and PTZ cameras) and surveillance rooms with videowall
• AID (Automatic Incident Detection) and video intelligence
• Automatic Number Plate Recognition (OCR/ANPR)
• WIM (Weigh-in-Motion / high-speed scales)
• ETD/SAT (vehicle counting and classification)
• Toll queue detection (CDF)
• Meteorological systems (weather and pavement condition)
• VMS (Variable Message Signs) and driver information
• Smart traffic lights and operational priority (e.g., corridors and BRT/DRT)
• SOS (emergency telephones) and Emergency Wi-Fi for assistance requests via smartphone
• Data Centers and networks (firewalls, switches L2/L3, voice/data/video segmentation)
• Communication infrastructure (fiber optics, backbone and derivations for field equipment)
• Solar energy and autonomous solutions for highway equipment (where applicable)
• Access control for train stations, DRT and airports
