Tracevia is executing, for the concessionaire Rota do Oeste, a strategic project to implement infrastructure and fiber optic network in Serra de São Vicente, with a contract starting in August 2025 and delivery scheduled for March 2026. The focus of the work is to increase the robustness and availability of communication along the stretch, creating a solid basis for the highway's operational systems.
- Main scope (infra + fiber):
- 68 km of fiber optic infrastructure with HDPE tubes, 4 routes on the trunk and 2 routes on the bypass (19 linear km)
- Backbone with 48-wire optical fiber (dual) in the trunk
- 12-wire optical fiber in Variant
- Technical derivations along the route to support field connectivity
As it is a mountain section, the project requires a highly planned execution, with special attention to implementation engineering and network continuity, ensuring performance and reliability for the concessionaire's operations.
